Amy Ford Bradley owns and manages Amy Ford Bradley, LLC; and is a principal of Direct Connect Consulting, LLC, which has provided fundraising, communications, marketing and event planning services to the D.C. political, corporate and non-profit communities since 1991. Amy takes a personal and “hand’s on” approach to each of her selected clients and believes that building long-lasting relationships is tantamount to success in the industry.
Amy started her career working under the tenure of Chairman Phil Gramm (TX) and Chairman Mitch McConnell (KY) at the National Republican Senatorial Committee. At the NRSC, Ms. Bradley managed and directed several multi-million Major Donor programs, their direct mail, marketing campaigns, large-scale events and budgets. Following a short leave of absence from Washington, D.C. to serve as Finance Director on a successful U.S. Senate campaign, she took time to learn about the non-profit sector at the U.S. English Foundation, securing grants and building their Advisory Board to include several well-known celebrities.
In 2001, Ms. Bradley founded her own fundraising consulting business, Amy Ford Bradley, LLC, which has served a wide range of clientele including: Senator Jim Inhofe (R-OK); Senator Mike DeWine (R-OH); the late Senator Craig Thomas (R-WY); Senator Richard Lugar (R-IN), Senator Mike Enzi (R-WY), Senator John Barrasso (R-WY), the Fund for a Conservative Future PAC, Ohio’s 17-Star PAC, Common Values PAC and Making Business Excel PAC. She has also worked on successful advocacy campaigns including the Oklahomans for Right to Work and the Republican Attorneys’ General Association, and directed major entertainment events at the Republican National Conventions in Philadelphia, New York and Tampa.
In 2009, Ms. Bradley co-founded Direct Connect Consulting Group, LLC, to help service the strategy, fundraising, conference, special event and consulting needs of various corporations and entities. Partnerships have included Chesapeake Energy, Parsons Corporation, Women Thrive International and the Louisa Swain Foundation.
Amy currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Shawnee Milling Company, a fourth generation, family-owned and operated business. She also served on the Advisory Committee for the Hamlin Fistula USA Foundation in 2011 – 2012, and traveled to Ethiopia to raise awareness for the issue.
